When it comes to politics? The same old attack adds regardless of how many times they have been debunked? How can anyone truly claim to be a patriot and an American if the only information they get regarding the candidates is from some slanderous mass email?

And I wasn’t really talking specifically about any group of people or and specific candidate. You see it in all of them I think.

People believe in the same old ideas no matter what their source. After watching the implosion of the Soviet Union and the revelations of the misery of that wretched system they still dream of the same in this country. When Marx is considered an intellectual, is there much that can done for these people?

I don’t know if it’s all “tired junk” as you call it.
When one thinks back at the attack adds from both sides during the past election years, and then looks at the results of who we elected, one might come to the conclusion that these adds might have had some truth to them.
For years these political hacks have been accusing each other of all sorts of corruption, and back door deals, and guess what, they’ve for the most part been true, on both sides.
Since that’s all we have to choose from, I guess we’re screwed.
