I work for a small HVAC company that is wanting to send out a monthly newsletter to our customers that have given us their emails. I have created a new account on yahoo for this purpose only and have started entering email addresses, but was just told by someone else that if you send more than 25 contacts an email at once, they will automatically go into the spam box of recipients. Is this true? If so, how can it be avoided?

I get a ton of spam and it takes time to delete them one at a time. Alos, I just got it yesterday- love it so far but are there any tips or common tricks that I should learn?

THANKS!

A mass email went out to all of the faculty of a school to ask that we consider a certain candidate. Something about this reeks of impropriety.

did that get reported? I think I have an enemy on YA that will do this to me…

My Co. will be using a mass emailing program to reach to our candidate. As you know, most people using free email such Yahoo!, Gmail, AOL, and Hotmail.

My mass email software can automatically set when should i pause and for how long.

Does anyone can give me a guideline how many email should i send before pause and for how long?

I do a newsletter for a non-for-profit rescue and my newsletter address list is over 400 people. Is there a way to send out my newsletter to more than 30 people an hour?
I have wild blue satelite internet. Their slowest connection…not dial up, but not high speed either.

When I try and send the newsletter out to more than 30 or so people I get an error message from yahoo saying I can’t send anything else for an hour to prevent spamming.

I have created a custom folder for them, but I am not sure I can send a mass email to them in one step. I do not want to include them in my contact/ address book if I can help it. Thank You!

I recently sent a mass email out to friends about taking a little break from playdates and playgroup and one friend, who I’m not that close with - at least not like I am with my best friends, got offended and thought I should have emailed her individually. I always send out mass emails about things and didn’t think it was a big deal when I explained in my email, in detail, why I was taking a little break. I didn’t have time or the energy to email every single person in the email individually and tell them why I was taking a hiatus from having playdates. Would you find this offensive?
