Mass email

I need to send about 5000 emails to customers from my business email. I really know thing about sending mass emails. From my understanding smtp is the maximum emails you can send a day? For my business email my smtp is set to 250. Is there anyway I can send the same email to 5000ish people? Can I use a BCC:?
Clarification - Can I make one email and copy and paste all 5000 emails into a BCC: and it will send them all?
Is there anyway I can send 5000 at once using any software? or do I have to make multiple email accounts and send 250 emails per account?

I’m sending out a mass email to past customers but I dont want everyone’s email revealed so I’m using the BCC option. How do I make everyone’s first name appear in the beginning of the email. Do I use some kind of HTML? I want to personalize the email as much as possible, thanks.

If i receive a mass email and I know my address was put in BCC, is there anyway I can see who else the mail was sent to?

I’d like to send a bunch of people the same email…but I don’t want everyones info out there for all to see. Is there a way to send out one email to a lot of people but hide everyone’s email addresses from the person receiving the email?
Oh…I’m using gmail.
The BCC works with yahoo….yahoo users can’t see the addresses but gmail users can still see it. Any tips?

i know that when sending an email, if i want to send it to a second person, but hide that from the first, i use the BCC thing. but how do i send a mass email where ALL the emails are kept from everyone else?

I have a mass email to send to our neighborhood, but I do not want the email addresses showing. I have received emails with “undisclosed-recipients” in the To: field and would like to do the same using my Outlook Express.

I have tried bcc:. That would work, however, I get an error saying that I have too many recipients (about 125 recipients).

I have spent hours trying to figure out how to set up a mass mailing via email. I have cut and past all the email address to excel but it wouldn’t let me save as a CSV file. All the email programs will only accept a CSV file and I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.

I did just cut and paste all the email address into outlook but it had problems. Does anyone know how to take a list of emails - (NO names) and get them into a program to do a bcc mass mailing. I am trying to send my resume to recruiters! Thanks.

In the mean time I have been sending the email to myself and BCC-ing everyone. But I am sure it looks a little strage for an email to be from me, to me.

I want to send a mass email with Microsoft Outlook to several companies applying for a job. I have recently been told I should use the *Bcc* to avoid these companies seeing the mail list.
However, I would like to know if it is some how poosible to use Microsoft Outlook to do something like the below:
*Dear ‘Insert Company’*

So that each individual email address the relevent company? I know there are mailing programs to do this, they call them #tags# but these programs come up as junk so I want to do all of this through Microsoft Outlook.
