My yahoo email account got phished. i changed my password immediately. is that enough to protect me?



it appears the person sent out a mass email to everyone in my address book. i found out and changed my password withing hours of this email being sent out. is that enought to protect me or do i have to delete my account now?

    If you use emails for important information, you should just get Gmail.
    Owned by google, so it must be safe, eh? :p

    If he knows your address book then he does know your password. i suggest you create a new account immediately. also i suggest adding symbols like ♂♀☼ into your password. it makes passwords much more difficult to ***** by pass crackers. i used to break into some files myself and, believe me, when people choose a simple password. it’s as if they didn’t add one at all. delete the account, make a new one, make a better password. end of story
