Microsoft Outlook/Email help?

I need to send out a mass email. How do I change the settings so that each recipient sees only their name in the “To” section, rather than an additional 1,000 names?

Use the “BCC” text field. That stands for Blind Carbon Copy. Put all the emails in that field and each recipient will only see his/her own email.

Use Mail merge option in MS-Word…. It will solve your problem. To use mail merge refer the help

In outlook, set up a contact called ‘undisclosed’. In there, the email address is your own.

Come to compose new mail. Put your contacts in BCC. Put your ‘undisclosed’ in To column.

Send the message after typing it. You will get a copy to your inbox but everyone will get theirs without knowing the 1000 other names.

If you want to individually address every one of the 1000 names, you should use mailmerge in Word. In the body, if you want to address that name somewhere in the document, macro in word will help you build it. Refer to help. Can’t describe that procedure in detail here.
