How do I send a message to several of my friends and keep their addresses private?

I want to send a mass email to my friends about an upcoming holiday event that I have been planning. But I want to protect their individual email addresses. A few years ago I was on the mailing list for a club but someone got the list and sent an email to the entire group and all 800 addresses were listed for all to see.

I wanto do something with my friends this weekend and for most of them email is the way we keep in touch and I need to do it all at once (get together about 30 of us) and I can’t type an email to all of them one at a time-I’ve tried it once before and it takes too long. So how can I send it to them simultaneously while protecting their individual email from possible third party people who eyeball outgoing messages?

Any suggestions?

usually if you put a ( ) around the other emails it will not show. Test it before you send it out.

write to one and “blind copy” the others. should be a BC or BCC option on your email options.
