Thank you for the replies. I know about deleting the 25 mails per page by selecting all, but there are 14807 currently and that would take forever. Is there anyway perhaps I can view more than 25 per page, say 100 per page, so that I can delete 100 at a time? Thank you so much for taking the time to respond
How do I mass delete mail from my inbox? I have not accessed it for a while. Thank you?

There is a provision for selecting all mails.use it or select individually all mails in the inbox and click delete. All the mails will get deleted.

To mass delete, click select all and click delete. Make sure you have a good one in there before deleting.

You can delete them all at once——BUT—–you would have to switched to “All New Mail”.
It has a continuous mail page which allows you to delete en mass. Click on “more actions”—-then “check all” and then “delete”.
You can then switch back to Classic afterward.
Otherwise, with Classic, it’s page by page.
BUT—-you can speed it up by changing the “messages per page” to 200 instead of 25. That makes it 8 times faster, with 200 at a time.
Mail page>>options (top right)>>scroll to and click on “general preferences”. Now, go down to *Folders/Search Results* and change the number in the box—-then click a blank space (outside the box), to set the number, (so it won’t roll to a different number), while you scroll to the bottom of the page to click “save”.
