Click the little white box on the left that you use to delete the emails, but only click the offending boxes.

After the emails you want have a check mark in the boxes, instead of clicking delete, click “Spam”. If that doesn’t work, then you’ll have to get another account.

I know. That happened to me. Every time I tried to spam certain emails, they kept coming up, so I had to get another account.

Aha, fresh blood. The telemarketers have their antennas up, looking for new victims. Here are steps you could take to avoid this. I’m new at this computer and discovered these on my own after weeks of frustrations.

. One solution to this annoying problem is this. Go to My Account. Locate the Edit my Marketing Preferences. Make sure you did not check any of those boxes. That’s how they track you down. They find out your varied interests and send you these spam.

A second way, is go to Mail Options found on the extreme right of your Yahoo Mail page. Under General Preferences, locate the Special Folders. Make sure you check the box to save your sent messages in the sent folder. You also want to check the box to redirect unsolicited messages to the Bulk Folder.

Another way is under Spam Protection, Turn the Spam Guard on, check the box to immediately delete these messages upon receipt. or save the messages in your Bulk Folder x1month. In Spam +Not Spam. Mark the box that when you mark a message as spam, the message will be deleted immediately and their e-mail adddress be added to the Block Addresses List. When a message in Bulk Folder, is marked as Not Spam. the message would be moved to your inbox. A copy is immediately forwarded to a customer care associate for careful review. Future messages from this sender will be delivered.

One final solution that I found to be a sure shot is this. In the Bulk Folder, check the box that upon receiving this e-mail ;immediately delete it automatically upon receipt ; with out reviewing them. I had to resort to this drastic step, to get rid of them. .

The use of filters may also help. First filter out family and friends. This is found on the mail option. You can create up to 15 filters, and direct your unsolicited mails to one of these. However, there’s a catch to this. You got to be specific in the headers. Any variance in the words, render them useless. And spammers are devious. Sometimes, they change the sender’s name under the same e-mail addresses.

Make sure you add their address to the blocked addresses list; if not done for you already by Spam Guard. Look for this list under Spam on the message itself. Or under the Block address also in the mail options. This list will accommodate 500 addresses. You have a lot to work with.

Make sure you listed all your friends and family on the address book for this artificial intelligence to recognize them as not Spam. Never just delete these spam. Neither unsubscribe, they’ll just send you more, now that thay know your valid e-mail address. Then you don’t have to look at these disgusting and annoying telemarketer ads.

Try all the options what other sayl, and try my idea too! and tell me if it works!

no matter what you use, Yahoo web email or Outlook. Spam is gonna choke your inbox in everyway.

i originated an idea few months back to fight this spam problem and it worked like magic.

put an vacation response or auto response to your yahoo/outlook mail. it should go like this:
    ————————–
If you are a SPAMMER, you are eligible for a lawsuit. for more details go to.

Spammers will be taken to court for litigation.
    ———————-

everytime a mail hit your mailbox, this msg will go to them. believe i got rid of spam messages in just one month. i now get only 5-6 spam msgs per week compared to thousands in past.

try this and let me know.

    cheers
