Does anyone know of a way to mass unsubscribe to junk email? Is there a magic button to push? Please help?

I just want to get rid of all the junk email in my mailbox and rather than unsubscribe to each and every one, what can I do?

There is not easy way. Many e-mails have an option at the bottom to unsubscribe, but quite often all this does is confirm to the sender that, yes, sombody is actually reading the message, so let’s send them more. If your mail program has a spam filter, you may want to use it. I was getting 500+ junk messages a day. For about a week I went thru and marked as many addresses as I could to go directly to the trash folder, this cut my inbox down alot, but you have to do this every once in a while. The other option is to get a new e-mail address, and not give it out to anyone except for people who you actually want to exchange mail with. (signing up for offers, free sofware, screen savers, surveys, is usually what starts the mess)

“Johan” is right. Attempting to unsubscribe will actually make the problem worse. You would be confirming that you have an active email address. Once you are on the spammers’ active list, which they sell to other spammers, you will get more spam mail than you thought imaginable. It is better just to block it.
