You can. Ethically as a business person you should not send an unsolicited email ad or newsletter. It could be detrimental to your business in the long run. Have your list by consent only. Then you can use Yahoo to send emails.
Remember the consequences can be drastic if any of the recipient reports your email address as a spam. If your email list is by consent then you do not run risks of being barred by Yahoo.
Allow also the subscribers a way to unsubscribe in future.
