I am setting up a distribution business where I buy a range of hair products from a supplier overseas and then store them in a warehouse.
I will employ sales reps to visit hair salons and take orders for my hair products.
I need a computer software that can:
1. Keep track of my own orders with my suppliers, did they arrive etc.
2. Keep track of my warehouse inventory.
3. Keep track of my sales reps details.
4. Keep track of each sales reps orders grouped by hair salon name in his area.
5. Print off invoices to mail out to the salons, and keep track of whether or not they have been paid.

I have no idea what this type of software is called and am having a hard time finding something suitable.
Does anybody have any suggestions of names of software or search terms I can type into Yahoo to get a list of softwares with reviews? When I type inventory management, I can’t seem to find one that tracks the sales reps.

Surely there is something out there already?

Thanks.

I’ve been receiving e-mail from myself recently. Seriously, e-mail spammers are able to make e-mails appear to have come from addresses other that the ones that they were really sent from and this company got mine somehow and they are using it in that way.

Do you know anything about this company? Is there anything I can do?

Here is their “contact” page, which has their mailing address. They are located in Seattle, WA.

a place where multiple people actually post useful info about adwords, landing page conversion rates, email lists, seo, etc. that would allow me to informatively decide where to focus my time and energy when marketing the instructional ebooks and videos I make

I’ve been wondering what the “CC” was for in an email?

I am relatively new to the site but I must say that there seems to be a major trend on the site to give glib one line answers that leave me with the uneasy feeling that people are doing so just for their own ego. Think about it who cares how many points you have except yourself. Big deal! So are we being used by marketing guru ploys?
There again it may just be an innate need of the masses to connect with others. And the marketing gurus know that.
Having said that there are some funny characters out there who break the monotony. Then there are the minority of sincere people who would like to convey their views in a intelligent manner, whether you agree with them or not.

Like lots of marketing today I think the backroom boys at Yahoo Answers are using the subtle marketing mechanism of “positive feedback” by playing to consumers human wants. In other words they keep the answers flowing in and give you points for making their site viable. They know what most people want and the’ve no doubt studied it. As such it can tends to detiorate into a generalized hub bub town hall forum. Maybe Internet sites like this have largely replaced town hall forums just like email has supplanted “snail mail”.

This state of affairs is reinforced by giving points to anyone and everyone whatever the quality of their answer. And to loose points for asking questions well I’m just in disbelief about that.
¢нαяℓιє вяσωη says;
“As to the issue of why it costs points to ask a question,the answers to this question in the link below puts it best:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…”

I say;
yes I undertand what the link says but it is all one-sided.
You can have pointless answers ( driven by the inane motive of scoring points) as well as pointless questions.

Everybody has questions but the “positive feeback mechanism” used by Yahoo recognizes that people by and large need an incentive to answer someone’s question that they don’t know from a bar of soap.

I just checked and found quite a number of personal emails in the bulk folder, and that is just for the last month. After that they are deleted automatically. Presumably I have lost many messages from friends etc over the years. Are they out there somewhere, of do they literally no longer exist? Thanks.
