i have a very extended email address list for bussiness reasons. more than 1000 recipients. i know that hotmail has a 999 addressee limit that you can store in the address book. do you know what it is for yahoo? and do you know how many emails can be send at the time? what is the limit per hour? what is the limit per day?

I have a web store front, need to know some safe and legal ways to get it out there for customers to see.

i followed all the directions: clicked compose, clicked “to” then clicked all the contacts i wanted it sent to, the wrote the email. a message keeps saying there’s something wrong with my adresses

If I want to send a personal email to a citywide mailing list of about 2000, would this be considered spam? I am not marketing or selling anything, the most I have is a link to a local political blog in the message.
Any thoughts?

All are clients, so no spam. using Mail() opens a socket connection for each time through the loop, so that’s not fast. Thought about using PEAR’s Mail package. - Anyone use that before? Also, how do i stay off of spam lists?? There will be an unsubscribe feature and all emails will be to customers, so as not to be spam.

I work for a small business (10 people) and I am looking for the most efficient way to mass email. We tried a program called ‘MyMailList Deluxe’, but the messages were all blocked by our isp (Embarq). I’ve been searching for hours, but i can’t seem to find the software to fit my needs.. I think i need software that comes with a subscription to a limitless mail server provider. I’m not sure. Thanks so much in advance.
